What's On

We are an active parish community with events taking place throughout the year, from our Parish Christmas Fair to our summer day trips to the seaside. We have a number of different groups which meet regularly. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, most of our face-to-face activities are currently suspended but some groups are meeting online or providing outreach support. You can also keep up to date via our latest newsletter and Facebook page:

Catholic Care Community Market Stall

The Community Market Stall runs every Wednesday at St Winefride's Church Hall between 9.00 - 10.00am to support local families under pressure. Please come along to collect a free bag of food if you're in need. If you need a free food parcel to be delivered, please contact the Parish Office.

Wednesday Lunch Delivery

Are you an older person and would you like to have a home-delivered, hot lunch on Wednesdays (just £3 for two courses) cooked by our Catholic Care Friendship Group? Just contact Michelle Vink: 07739 975000 for more details.

Parish Men's Group

An informal and friendly group which includes men of all ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds. It's open to any man who wishes to participate in group activities within a Catholic setting but you don't have to be a Catholic to join! The group meets every couple of months, please see our latest newsletter for the next date. Sycamore Group

If you're thinking about the bigger questions in life, curious about God, perhaps wanting to reconnect with your faith or to explore the possibility of becoming a Catholic, you might like to try our online Sycamore group for adults. We meet fortnightly on Thursdays at 7.30pm via Zoom, the format is simple - we watch a short film on a theme and then have some time to talk. If you would like more information or the Zoom meeting link to join us, just email the Parish Office or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
